Sr. Research Associate/Scientist/Sr. Scientist

Bright Biologics, a startup biotech company located in the heart of Silicon Valley, is dedicated to discovering and developing the next generation of bispecific antibodies to combat life- threatening diseases including cancer. Founded & operated by highly experienced industry veterans with track records of advancing novel bispecific antibodies to clinical trials, the company utilizes a unique antibody discovery platform & state-of-art screening technology for the development of novel therapeutical bispecific antibodies. Significant progress has been made in lead identification & optimization for several key projects within a short period of time. Currently we are looking for highly energetic & motivated researchers to joining our R&D team to characterize antibody drug candidates in in vitro cell-based functional assays. The positions are ideal for junior researchers with a profound love of learning and ambition to develop their career in biotech industry.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Immunology or related fields.

• Experience in research using mammalian cell culture is a must.

• Experience in antibody characterization using flowcytometry for whole cell binding assay and luciferase reporter assays.

• Experience in isolation of human PBMCs and/or T cells and assays using PBMCs/T cells for antibody-mediated cytokine secretion.

• Experience in tumor cell killing assays using human PMBCs or ADC.

• Drug discovery experience in biopharmaceutical industry is a plus but not required.

Benchwork is essential for these positions. Candidates must have hands-on experiences in cell culture, and desire to learn new techniques. In addition, candidates need to be flexible to work in a startup fast-paced environment and have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Senior position requires Ph.D. with more than 3 - 5 years research experience.
